Privacy Policy
We Care About Your Privacy
We prioritize the security and confidentiality of the personal information you provide to us. We understand the trust you place in us when sharing your information.
Our Privacy Policy helps you make informed decisions when using our website. It is designed to assist you, businesses, consumers, and the general public in understanding how we collect and use the personal information you provide and to help you make informed choices when using our website and all associated services.
Personal Information
This policy applies to personally identifiable information ("personal information"), which is information we directly associate with a specific person or entity (e.g., name; addresses; phone numbers; usernames and passwords; call logs; wireless device location). Personal information does not include "anonymous" or "aggregated" information, which is not linked to a specific person or entity.
Use of Personal Information
We use personal information for various business purposes, including, for example, completing transactions and billing products and services; verifying your identity; responding to your service or support requests; anticipating and resolving real and potential problems with our products and services; creating and improving products and services; suggesting additional or different products or services; collecting for our services; making internal business decisions about current and future offerings; providing personalized service and user experiences; protecting our rights and assets; and contacting you about other services offered by Rabona Corporation. We may disclose personal information to employees of our company or affiliated companies for any business purposes, including those described in this policy.
Disclosure of Personal Information
Except as described below, we do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personal information to third parties without your consent for the marketing of their products or services:
• With Your Consent: We may disclose personal information to third parties with your consent. We may obtain your consent in various ways, such as in writing, online via "click-through agreements," orally, including via interactive voice response, or when your consent is part of this policy or the terms and conditions under which we provide service. Your consent may sometimes be implied. For example, if you purchase a product and request delivery to your home, you implicitly consent to our disclosure of your name and address to a third-party shipping company to complete the delivery.
• To the Primary Account Holder: We may disclose personal information of an account user to the primary account holder (the party financially responsible for the account). If a business, government agency, or other individual obtains the service on your behalf, that entity or individual is our customer, and we may provide personal information about you or your use of the service to them or others at the direction of the account holder. If you are the primary account holder but receive special pricing or discounts, terms, or other benefits through an agreement with another party (e.g., an employee discount), we may provide personal information to that party to verify your initial and ongoing eligibility for the benefits associated with the agreement with us and to calculate any discounts.
• Third Parties Providing Services on Our Behalf; Transaction Processing: We may disclose personal information to third parties who perform services on our behalf (e.g., companies completing transactions and performing credit checks, billing, credit/debit card payment processing, shipping, customer support, and marketing), or who perform transactions on your behalf (e.g., verifying account information at your request with a third party, processing credit/debit card transactions), or transfers related to your service (e.g., number portability). Your wireless phone number, the numbers you dial, and other usage information will be available to companies providing telecommunications services on our behalf to facilitate the origination, transport, and termination of your calls with Rabona Corporation.
• Third-Party Services: Your personal information may be disclosed when using our services, which allow you to take advantage of services and products offered by other companies. For example, if you are traveling on another operator's network, your wireless phone number, numbers you dial, and other usage information will be available to that operator to facilitate the service.
• Business Transfers: We may disclose personal information as part of a business transaction, such as a merger or acquisition, joint venture, business reorganization, financing, or sale of business assets, or in the rare case of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, in which personal information may be transferred to third parties as part of the business transaction.
• Legal Process and Protection of Rabona Corporation and Others: We may disclose personal information or communications when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law or respond to legal processes (e.g., a subpoena, court order, E-9-1-1 information); to enforce or apply agreements, Terms and Conditions, or this policy; to initiate, complete, bill, and collect for services and products; to protect our rights or assets; in connection with claims, disputes, or litigation; to protect our services' users and other carriers from fraudulent, abusive, or illegal uses of services; to facilitate or verify the correct calculation of taxes, duties, or other obligations owed to local, state, or federal authorities; or if we determine that disclosure is needed in an emergency situation.
Collection of Personal Information
We collect personal information about you when you use our services or interact with us in other ways. This information includes:
Information You Provide: We collect personal information when you register for and use our services, and when you send emails, call, or otherwise communicate with us. For example, we may collect contact, billing, and credit information when you register for voice services or purchase other products or services. We may also collect personal information when you call, chat, or email our customer service representatives, enter information on our websites, respond to surveys, or pay for services. If you provide personal information in connection with a co-sponsored website, this policy will apply to our use of the information, while the co-sponsor’s policy will apply to its use of the information.
Information Collected Automatically During the Use of Our Wireless Services: We collect information about the wireless services you use, including call logs, features used, minutes of call/text/data, selected service options, device numbers, and other similar information. We collect and use location data from your mobile device for various purposes, as described below. We also automatically collect certain information that may be linked to personal information whenever you use our applications or websites. We may also obtain personal information about you from other sources. For example, we may receive contact information, demographic information, and address updates from our shippers or other vendors. If you access third-party services, such as social media, through our websites, we may also collect information like your username, password, and other information provided through those third-party services. We collect this automatic information to help us understand the interests of our community members and visitors and to personalize your user experience, among other things.
Access to Your Information
You can access and modify your contact information by contacting us at admin@rabona.us or through our Customer Service Department. We will make every effort to address requests to correct inaccurate information, except in cases where the request is unreasonable, requires excessive technical effort or expense, risks others' privacy, or is impractical. You should not give, surrender, or disclose your passwords or other similar user identifiers to unauthorized individuals, nor should you allow unauthorized persons to use your mobile device, account, or related passwords or identifiers. Any loss of control over passwords or other identifiers could result in a loss of control over your information. You will be responsible for any action taken in your name or by anyone using your passwords or similar identifiers. You must immediately change any passwords or identifiers and notify us if any of your passwords or identifiers are compromised.
Update and Modify Your Information
We take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is relevant, accurate, and complete. The use of our services or website may allow you to update or modify your personal information through our website. If you remove certain information from your accounts, we will retain only those copies of such information necessary to comply with government orders, resolve disputes, resolve issues, enforce any agreements you have made with us, and as we reasonably deem necessary.
Deletion of Your Account and Information
We take steps to ensure that requests for deletion of personal information are fulfilled in compliance with legal requirements such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), other regulations, and the preventive cancellation of your services. We retain your information for as long as required for security, business, tax, anti-fraud, or legal purposes. Once the information is no longer needed, we destroy it to make it unreadable or indecipherable. In the normal course of telecommunications business activities, phone numbers, ICCID, and other identifiers are reassigned and are no longer considered personally identifiable information once they are dissociated from your name, address, and demographic information.
Finally, please be aware that after completing your account deletion request, we will no longer be able to serve you as a customer unless you create a new account with us. To initiate the account deletion process, please contact info@rabona.us with your request. Please note that in order to delete your account, you must not have active or pending lines.
Caller ID
When using Rabona Corporation’s services, your name and phone number may be transmitted and displayed on the receiving party’s communication device and/or telephone bill.
Cookies
We may use cookies (small text data files placed on your computer or device) or similar technologies to identify the computer or device and record your preferences and other data to personalize your visit to our websites. For example, if you register on our websites, we may use cookies to remember your registration information so that you don’t have to log in again every time you visit. Additionally, we may store your password in a cookie if you select the "Save this password for automatic login" option. Please note that for security purposes, we encrypt customer IDs, passwords, and any other account-related data contained in cookies. We may also use information collected through cookies to improve our sites, make recommendations, and complete transactions you request. You can set your browser to reject cookies or delete them, but this may result in the loss of some functionality on our sites. We may also use Web beacons (small invisible graphic images on a web page or in an HTML email) to track interaction with our sites or emails. If we combine or link cookie or Web beacon information with personal information, we will treat the combined or linked information as personal information under this policy. We may use third parties to place ads for our products and services on other websites. The use of cookies, Web beacons, or similar technologies by such third parties is governed by their privacy policies, not this policy.
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) is a form of personal information generated in connection with the telecommunications services we provide. Specific federal laws and regulations protect CPNI. We are committed to ensuring full compliance with such laws and regulations in every aspect. CPNI includes, for example, call details, call location information, and some information about your rate plans and features. CPNI does not include your name, address, and phone number. Under federal law, you have the right, and we have the duty, to protect the confidentiality of CPNI, and we have adopted policies and procedures designed to ensure compliance with such regulations. We will not intentionally disclose your CPNI to third parties without your permission unless permitted by FCC regulations, applicable law, or as described in this policy. We offer password-protected online access to your account information via www.rabona.us. For multi-line accounts, the primary account holder is authorized to access online information for all devices associated with the accounts.
Customer Service Monitoring
We may monitor and record phone calls, emails, chats, or other communications between you and our customer service representatives or other employees for training and quality assurance purposes and to review specific transaction requests.
Location Information
Our network may detect the approximate location of your device whenever it is turned on (subject to coverage limitations). This location technology makes it possible to route wireless communications and is also the basis for providing enhanced 9-1-1 emergency services, which allows us to provide your general location to a public safety answering point, medical emergency service provider, or emergency service provider. We may also use this technology to disclose, without the user's consent, the approximate location of a wireless device to a government entity or law enforcement authority when we have a legal order or reasonably believe there is an emergency involving the risk of death or serious bodily harm. We may also use the location of your mobile device to provide our voice and wireless data services, as well as location-based applications and services offered by us and third parties, including maps, navigation, weather, and other applications or tools. The wireless applications and services offered by us and third parties also use the location data of the mobile device.
Protection of Your Information
We want you to feel secure when using Rabona Corporation, and we are committed to protecting the information we collect. While no company or website can guarantee security, we have implemented appropriate administrative, technical, and physical procedures to help protect the personal information you provide to us. For example, we allow access to personal information only to authorized personnel, and only for permitted business functions. We also employ firewalls and intrusion detection systems to prevent unauthorized access to your information that we maintain. However, we cannot guarantee, declare, or assure that the use of our services or websites is protected from all security threats, viruses, or other vulnerabilities, or that your information will always be secure.
Children’s Privacy Protection
Websites operated by Rabona Corporation are intended for a general audience and do not offer services directly to children. If an individual whom we know to be a child under the age of 13 sends us personal information, we will delete or destroy that information as soon as reasonably possible.
Visiting Our Websites from Outside the United States
If you visit our websites from outside the United States, your information may be transferred, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers are located and where we manage our databases. The data protection laws and other regulations of the United States and other countries may not be as comprehensive as those in your country. However, Rabona Corporation takes measures under U.S. law to protect your privacy. By using our services, you understand that your information may be transferred to our facilities and to third parties with whom we share it, as described in this Privacy Policy.
Other Regulatory Terms
This policy does not modify or alter any applicable agreement you have with Rabona Corporation. If you use or subscribe to our products and services, our Terms of Service and other specific terms may apply to your use, purchase, or subscription. If this policy conflicts with any part of such terms and agreements, the terms and agreements prevail to the extent of the discrepancy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if we make significant changes to our practices or if legal or regulatory changes require it. If we decide to use or disclose personal information in a materially different way from what was stated in this policy at the time it was collected, we will notify you by sending a notice to the email address you provide or by posting a prominent notice on our websites. You should frequently refer to this policy for the most current information and the effective date of any changes.
