IPL 2026: Rovman Powell pulls off a one-handed stunner to dismiss Heinrich Klaasen
Kolkata Knight Riders star Rovman Powell pulled off a blinder of a catch against SRH on Sunday afternoon as he sent in-form Heinrich Klaasen back to the pavilion early in SRH's innings.
As Klaasen tried to loft a delivery of Cameron Green through mid on, Powell ran from the deep forward position and grabbed a one-handed catch to dismiss the South African for just 11 runs.
It was a miraculous catch for the West Indian, who broke his sunglasses after he fell on the ground following the catch. A review was done by the umpires to check if the catch was taken properly and after a DRS check, Klaasen was given out.
Commentator Pommie Mbangwa was mesmerised by Powell's effort as he labelled it as 'One-handed miracle catch', on air.

SRH experience an epic batting collapse
SRH were off to a flying start despite losing Abhishek Sharma's wicket early as Travis Head scored a fiery half-century. The hosts at one point were cruising towards a massive total as they scored 105 for the loss of just one wicket, even before 10 overs were bowled.
However, the star-studded SRH batting experienced a major collapse thereafter as they lost their next eight wickets for just 51 runs.
Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy starred with the ball as they picked up two and three wickets respectively and broke the spine of the SRH side.

The Cricket News Opinion: KKR players are finally delivering after a nightmare start
Three-time IPL champions made a disastrous start to their campaign, going six games straight without a win and staring at a possible rock-bottom finish this season.
However, since the RR clash in Guwahati last month, KKR's fortunes have started to change. They beat RR at their home, before upsetting LSG at their den in the super over.
If KKR can beat SRH and register a third consecutive win on the trot, they will be able to keep themselves afloat in the IPL 2026 playoff race.
